SELF-COMPASSIONING: An Unburdening Process
Learning how to extend love, tenderness, and grace to the "best version" of yourself as well as "worst version" is called "self-compassioning." It helps prevent hardships from turning into burdens.
Opus Peace uses the word "self-compassioning" instead of the conventional term self-compassion because we want to emphasize that self-compassion is not as much a thing- a noun, as it is a verb, a process that you do. Self-compassioning uses a 3-step process:
Abiding, reckoning, and beholding help you live from a dimension of integrity because fear no longer drives your decisions.
